Design Study
Daniel Arev Architecture is an architecture practice whose work centres on private houses. The studio designed the practice's mark and its website. The monogram joins the D and the A into a single drawn stroke, a signature rather than a typeset logotype, so that it sits naturally beside the architect's own hand on drawings and correspondence.
The website is built around the work: an archive of the houses, each photographed and named, a publications page collecting the press each project received, and a studio page with the practice's approach and contact details. The mark holds the corner of every page, and the layout stays out of the way of the photography.
